The Story Behind This Piece
Dragon Boat Festival began with one man — Qu Yuan — and one act of conviction that echoed for over two thousand years.
Today, dragon boats still race on rivers around the world. Incense still burns in temples. And this handcrafted ceramic incense holder still carries that same meaning: remembrance, protection, and the belief that some things are worth holding onto.
Each one is shaped by hand and fired at high temperature. The dragon boat holds a standard 4mm stick incense perfectly upright. The base is weighted — it won’t tip over, even when the candle is burning low. The glaze is smooth, the texture real.
Two expressions of the same meaning:
- Bold Red — for the room that needs energy
- Harmony Green — for the space that needs calm
Where it lives:
Place it on your tea table during ceremonies. On the shelf as a conversation piece. By your meditation corner as a daily anchor. Or on the entryway table — something that speaks before you do.
Dimensions: 21cm x 4.2cm x 7.5cm
When you bring this into your home, you’re not just decorating. You’re keeping something alive.
Limited in the way real things are limited — not by artificial scarcity, but by the fact that human hands can only work so fast.
